The Sierra Designs redesigned Light Year 1 is a classic ultralight solo tent designed for those who want to go faster and lighter. Redesigned for more usable interior space, more gear storage and a taller peak height with no weight increase. The all mesh body allows great views and excellent ventilation. The Light Year 1 has long been a favorite of long distance hikers. It is easy to set up, requires minimal staking, and has plenty of room! It also packs incredibly small. Includes a full coverage rain fly that completely envelops the tent and keeps you secure and dry when the heavy rain falls and the wind is blowing. The dual zippers on the vestibule allow it to double as an awning. SuperSeal bathtub floor wraps up the sides to keep water out. The Lightyear 1 is an ideal solo backpacking or motorcycle camping tent. Lightweight, shock-corded aluminum DAC poles are durable and easy to use. large D shaped entry door and front vestibule for storing your extra gear. SD Tent Lite clips for pole attachment speed setup and allow additional air flow beneath the fly. Corner stakes with String Lock points offer the ability to tie down securely. Reflective guy loops increase visibility at night. When the weather is good you can set up with minimal staking required.
